Abstract

Haitian insecurity, whose actors are the imperialist powers, certain figures on the Haitian political chessboard and armed groups, is a phenomenon whose resolution is problematic. This is why the research "tends to show the indirect subordination of the Haitian justice system to the orders of the United States of America" from which the ammunition of the gangs that terrorize the Haitian population originates. Thus, this research has, a priori, affirmed that the resolution of the problem of Haitian insecurity depends on the "principle of judicial independence". However, its application, according to the opinions of the respondents, must be the corollary of a self-determination of the Haitian people expressed by its break with the imperialist powers, including the United States, and of a reform of Haitian law that will redefine international relations and the status of the Haitian State.
