Les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) dans l’enseignement supérieur : Impact de la fracture numérique sur la performance académique

Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICTs), since their integration into higher education, are transforming pedagogical practices, administrative processes and the university experience more generally. However, the challenges of the digital divide tend to undermine these impacts, highlighting inequalities in access to and use of digital tools. Through a collection approach combining exploratory analysis and quantitative analysis, this study focuses on the use of digital tools in teaching and management and their effective influence on students' academic results. The findings show that the impact of digital technology on learning is multidimensional. Beyond its use, other factors must be considered, including socio-demographic characteristics, living conditions, professional activities, previous education, learning methods and study contexts.
